The Nokia 6111 is Nokia's first attempt at a sliding phone. It looks very good but you may be disappointed when you use this phone.
The first thing you will notice is that the memory is small and there is no memory card slot. The display is bad for a modern phone with a resolution of only 128 x 160 pixels. The camera is only a 1 megapixel camera and there is no stereo FM radio.
The phone is not the most reliable either users have reported that their phones have broken within only a few days of receiving it.
The 6111 runs the Symbian Series 40 operating system, there is a WAP browser, email client and support for instant messaging.

I have had the Nokia 6111 phone for 3 months now and I am very happy with it. It is small enough to fit in my pocket and as it has the slide design the keyboard is a good size. The camera is good at 1.3 MPixels. The menus are the usual Nokia standard which means I haven't even had to read the manual.

What was I thinking when I got the 6111 phone, I must have been hungover or something. From the moment I got this phone it crashed, something it does all the time. Not really good when you are on an important call to a client. If you are going to buy a new phone then dont get this one or you will regret it. I give it 2 out of 5 and not 1 for one reason only and thats because when its not crashing the reception is better than my hubbys and we are both on the same network (Orange).

The 6111 phone is rubbish it has a great looking front but on the inside my 1 broke the first day by pressing just one button, not good for a modern mobile, I would not recoment anyone buy this handset.
