Phone Information

The Nokia E65 is a 3G smartphone which runs the Symbian S60 operating system, but apart from that the E65 physical layout is similar to that of the Nokia 6280 and 6288 phones.

The main difference with the E65 is the software as the Nokia E65 is a Symbian smartphone.

The real point of the Nokia E65 is that it supports integration into corporate telephone systems such as Avaya, Alcatel and Cisco PABX systems. This makes the E65 an extension of a corporate telephone system which can be very handy indeed and the Nokia E65's internal WiFi capabilities mean that it can be used for VOIP (Voice Over IP) telephony too.

wel, some people just hate nokias. i myself swear by them! they are dependable and reliable! i had a nokia 6822 before but i sat on the screen and cracked it, but seeing as i bought it off amazon for 45 it wasnt that much of o problem. So when i bought the nokia E65 i was very pleased with it. The mocca colour scheme is very attractive and the phone is one of the coolest flip phones! everyones got the samsung D900 but not many with this one! Screen is large, cameras exellent (2mgpxls), operating system IS NOT slow as decribed by some and is packed with features. expandable memory is a must but note there is a lack of fm radio and front facing camera. I'm not bothered about this because im with tesco mobile (who are great btw) and dnt really use 3G. overall, this phone is great for anyone who is into cool and stylish but beware - this phone is complex!!!

It looks good, it is small enough to fit in any pocket. It has WIFI. I can run skype, messenger, Google talk and sip via fring. I can run Google maps (the mobile application) and Gmail (the mobile application).

This is truly an amazing phone. Battery live is also good. Be aware this review was written in March 2007 and if you read this in July or August the E65 might already be an old phone with technology moving so fast. No phone is perfect these days. If the Nokia E65 had a better camera it would be. One point for improvement. Still 5 stars for this product.

I have now had 3 Nokia E65 phones and each one developed a fault within a few weeks. Thats until I got my latest one and this one works amazingly well and looks fantastic. I appreciate that the E65 is a business handset, but I would like to see some games on it.
