Phone Information

The Nokia N73 is an impressive update of the popular Nokia N70 3G SmartPhone. The N73 is thinner than the N70 and also weighs less making it one of the lightest smartphones on the market today. The keys can be a bit too too small for some people but this should not really be a problem. The display screen is large and has an amazing 240 x 320 pixel resolution in 262,000 colours making it one of the best displays on any smartphone.

Nokia have also upgraded the camera on the N73 as it now has a 3.2 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera for very impressive images and video capture. The camera also has a built in flash, 20x digital zoom, macro mode and many other settings including a photo editor.

The Nokia N73 a good music device too - It comes with a music player that supports a range of audio formats including MP3, WMA and AAC. The player supports playlists and there is an equalizer which allows you to adjust the sound quality. The music can be played through the dual stereo speakers fitted in the phone or through the stereo headset that is supplied.

When it comes to the memory of the phone you now get 42 Mbytes of internal memory and a slot ofr a miniSD card. With this you can store and amazing amount of images, photos, music or video. In fact the phone can record up to 90 minutes of video.

Like most great smartphones there is Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and infrared and the battery life is very good for a 3G handset.

The N73 seems to be the best phone on the market excluding the N95 but the only add on with this model is having GPRS which seems pointless to me as i have a system in car. i have never had problems with slow message sending, phone crashing, or just generally being slow. I have nothing to complain about this phone which is why i give it 5/5.

The phone was is on an orange contract, bought through Phones4U the most unhelpful company by far. My phone keeps going into Off line status. After taking the phone back to Phones 4U within 28days they refused to replace it. They wanted to send it off for a repair even after Orange had instructed them to replace it. Orange replaced my phone as a good will gesture and since then two more sim cards the 2nd phone still has the same fault- I am awaiting now the 3rd new phone via orange having given up all help from Phones 4 u in High Wycombe. I would advise anyone to deal direct with the network.

the nokia n73 is proof that nokia have not lost there touch at creating amazing phones. Since the release of the sony ericsson k800i nokia have been abandoned but the n73 has matched the camera ,size, features and also added some other aprehendable applications.

My first impressions - WOW nice phone, my second impressions wow what a great phone. The nokia n73 has it all an amazing 3.2 megapixel camera with great video capture, WLAN not used it though as not needed, a nice big screen, loud stereo sound and the looks are cool.

I have the Nokia N73 and I really hate it sometimes. I do not have a memory card so have to rely on the phone memory which is doing my head in at the moment. I try to send text mesages and it tells me I have no memory and to delete some data but there is no data i have cleared out all pictures ringtones text messages tried to clear the life blog but says there is not enough memory to preform the operation and closes it down. I'm considering binning it !!

I have had my n73 for 3 weeks now and it has not crashed yet (well fingers crossed). It is prob the hardest phone I have ever had to get used to but I am getting there and the functions and features are really good. Dont know what half of them are for though but never mind. If you want a modern and technology packed mobile then get the Nokia N73, I hope ths review helps in your choice of phone.

The features of the Nokia N73 are excellent, but the design is awful and its so difficult writting a text as the buttons are too close together. The response of the phone is not the best its just slow. But as I have said the features on it are amazing, Wifi, 3.2 meg camera, high res screen and so so so much more.

I have had this phone for about 3 months now am am connected to Vodafone. I do like this phone as it has lots of functions and features, including a 3.2 mega pix camera. However on the negative side the N73 is slow, the battery life is not that great, my joystick button came off, I cant get the wifi to work, text messaging is slow and whats worse is that the buttons are too small so it takes ages to write a simple text. Bigger buttons and a slighly smaller screen next time Nokia. Rating: 3/5

I got this phone free on a Three 20 a month tariff a few week ago and could not believe what you get for free these days. Being a Symbian phone it did take some time to get use to the menu system as its so different to anything I have had before, but once you get used to it its so much better. The only negative is that it does take a few seconds to go from one menu to another but this is not a problem. The digital camera 3.2 megapix is great and I have not taken my camera out with me since getting this phone. The N73 also supports a wide variety of software which can be bought from Nokia and many other sites. What are Nokie going to bring out next I ask you. Nice phone and looks cool too. Rating: 5/5

Firstly the Nokia N73 mobile phone is great it does have a few problems with the software but once I went to Nokia's website and downloaded new filmware the problems has almost stopped, there is a great software download on Nokia's site to speed up the sending of text messages that works perfectly. Also I purchased a new memory card from the link on this site (Amzon) and could not belive how cheap a 1gb card was compared to Carphone Warehouse, it was less than half the price. MANY THANKS. I love this phone but would like to point out a few problems that I have had. Firstly the symbian 9 software crashes the phone occasionally which can be very very annoying, secondly the WIFI on my phone does not work as it has been switched off by NOkia due to a bug during manufacture. This phone is still worth a 4 out of 5 though as is just amazing when working properly.

My wife and I have two these mobiles, one each and are very happy with what we got. We are both on the Three network and the reception on the N73 is better than our old phones the Nokia 6230i and the N70 (also on the Three network). About the phones crashing we have also had this problem but like most very advanced pieces of technology I guess this is expected. Nice phone lets hope its replacement is crash free.

I do love this phone but can agree that there are some faults with it as it does crash at random moments and then re-boots. Also it can take some tiime to send a text message, I am on O2 and a friend has the N73 too on Vodafone and theirs does the same so its not the network. I have heard that there is a patch that can be downloaded to stop this so hopefully that will work.
