Samsung D840 Mobile Phone Information

The Samsung D840 is a communication and entertainment handset and comes in a very stylish casing. The mobile phone is available in either a sleek black finish or in a brushed silver effect. The D840 is a slide mechanism phone which is smooth and easy to use. The Samsung D840 is from the same family as the Samsung D800 and the D500 but this phone really does offer style and sophistication.


The D840 mobile has with a large and colourful screen which is a 2.12 Inch 240 x 320 pixels TFT 262K colours display, which allows for easy viewing of photos, messages, video, music information, Internet and games. The mobile phone comes with a nice and stylish keypad with the keys being etched into the metal surface and which can only be used when the mobile is in its slide open position.


The Samsung D840 is a nice and compact phone which is only 11.9mm in thickness which makes it great for holding or placing in your pocket. The dimensions of the D840 are 99mm by 51mm and it weighs just 100g including the fitted battery. Battery life of the phone is also good.

Iv always had sony ericssons and wante to change, and what a change, this phone looks so great! its so thin and light, and has an amzing screen! The menus look great, and when use to are so good to navigate.

some advantages that are listed are the battery life, well this isnt as bad as it sounds, it seems to last long enough for what i need to do. also it doesnt vibrate an ring at same time, pretty silly thing to leave out lol.

But as my rating goes it a 9/10, reccommend this phone, great buy.

I have had this phone the D840 for a week now and I think that it is a really good and neat phone with good reception and multimedia functions. Wish it had come with a USB cable though as this was not supplied in the box.

Just got this phone as replacement for my old D600. Not liking slider phones i am very happy with the D840 by Samsung, it looks like they have put a lot of work into making this phone, especially as you can make/take calls without opening the slider.
