The Samsung SGH-X830 is probably one of the most interesting phones released this year this year, with some amazing looks and colours (black, white, orange and pink).
The X830 is a very distinctive handset to look at and measures just 84 x 30 x 20mm and weighs only 72g. It comes with a 128 x 220 pixel 262k colour display and a circular control pad.
It is a rotator phone with a narrow numeric keypad hidden behind it's narrow fascia, so it's much more conventional than the older looking Nokia 7380. The Samsung X830 has a basic 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and of course there's a multimedia player capable of playing MP3, AAC and WMA media formats.
What is also impressive is the internal memory as it is a huge 1Gb but there's no expansion slot for upgrading this. But most people will use less that the 1Gb provided so this should be ample for everyone. The Samsung X830 has a USB 2.0 connection allowing the fast transfer of large or small amounts of data.

I have had my Samsung X830 mobile for some 2 months now and think its great. I have one in Pink which looks stunning and all my friends now want one too. To keep my phone looking good I have bought a cheap clear case which fits fine and was very cheap indeed.
The keypad was strange to use at first but did not take long to get used to it. It is also very small and light and fits into pockets and my handbag very easily. Have a look at the X830 in the shops and see for youself how nice it is.
